Brian E Lau, aka Brian E Arts, is the creator/writer/artist/letterer of two graphic novels with a third in production. A 76-page original graphic novel, Inferno City Firehouse, takes you inside the lives of real Detroit firefighters: True stories fused together into a breathtaking narrative. Staunch Ambition, a 128-page supernatural-science-fiction graphic novel, poses the question: What happens when human innovation transcends its physical limitations and enters a multifaceted spiritual dimension? Coming soon: Blood of the Baptist, a unique look at the tragic life of an extreme radical. A graphic novel on the dramatic life of the prophet John the Baptist.
As an independent publisher, Brian E Arts is devoted to making sure the level of production is as good as any of the major publishers. This is only possible due to the amazing talent he works with from Marvel, DC, Image, and Disney. Artists like Clayton Crain, Freddie Williams II, Khoi Pham, Erwin J Arroza, Neal Anderson, Jeff Von Buskirk, Jay A DeFoy, and many others. Brian is also working on Blood of the Baptist with the renowned theological scholar Jimmy Akin. Jimmy is an internationally known speaker, podcaster (Jimmy Akin's Mysterious World), and best-selling author of over 30 books.
Brian's work has been featured on a wide range of prominent podcasts including The Babylon Bee, 'Comics, Beer & Sci-Fi', Flashpoint, Comic Book Club, Canner Air, 3 Geeks, and The PVDcast. He has also worked on Florian's Knights the Movie - a documentary about firefighters who ride motorcycles to cope with PTSD. The director Panayioti Yannitsos and his crew filmed Brian discussing his novel Inferno City Firehouse for a short film to promote both his novel and Florian's Knights (coming soon).
Brian has collaborated with several musicians in creating professional original music. This music is featured in his trailers and serves as a soundtrack for his novels. He currently has the privilege of working with Cindy Morgan, Reina Özbay, and Trubdr. Adam Road on the soundtrack for Blood of the Baptist. Cindy is a two-time GRAMMY nominee, and fourteen-time Dove Award winner, including the eminent Songwriter of the Year Award. Reina is an actress and award-winning vocalist, is best known for her role as Abigail in the global smash series, The Chosen, and her rendition of the national anthem that aired nationwide. She made her feature film debut as Mother Mary in the movie musical, It’s Christmas Again. Adam's debut album Exile From the City's song, If God Don't Follow Me, was featured in the TV shows Teen Wolf and The Originals. If God Don't Follow Me has garnered over a million plays. Most recently the song was chosen for the trailer of Liam Neeson’s movie The Marksman. His music has also been featured in NBC’s Rise and in Netflix’s Marvel series Jessica Jones. Brian has also worked with Hallea Jones, the multi-talented model, singer, songwriter, and actor. Hallea is best known as Eden Hawkins on Netflix's hit show, Locke & Key.
Inferno City Firehouse is dedicated to HELPING all who are struggling with PTSD and/or depression by donating 20% of all profits to PTSD and depression treatment centers and by bringing awareness to the problem in hopes of lessening the stigma associated with these conditions.
